FAQ
What are your gatherings like?
Think simple, biblical, and Spirit-led. We focus on sincere worship without the distractions of modern entertainment. You won’t find a band or light show here; instead, you’ll experience the beauty of the whole congregation singing a cappella (voices only), just as the early church did. Our goal is to offer worship that is acceptable to God and uplifting to one another.
What happens when I visit?
Expect a warm welcome and an orderly service rooted in the New Testament. We sing hymns and local choruses together, offer prayers, and listen to a sermon preached directly from the undiluted Word of God. We also partake in the Lord’s Supper (Communion) every Sunday to remember the death and resurrection of Jesus. You will feel at home, finding a place of peace and truth.
What should I bring?
Just yourself and an open heart! If you have a Bible, please bring it along—we follow the Berean example of opening the Scriptures to verify what is taught. If you don’t have one, don’t worry; just come ready to listen and learn.
Do I have to give money?
Giving is an act of worship, but it is strictly voluntary and based on your own free will. We follow the New Testament instruction to give “as one purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7). You will never be pressured to give here.
To respect your privacy and keep your giving between you and God, we have placed collection boxes at the entrance rather than passing plates or bags during the service. We also believe in absolute integrity; every Sunday during announcements, we give an accounting of the previous week’s giving so the church knows exactly how the funds are being handled.
How should I dress?
We believe in honoring God with our best, so you will see most of our members dressed formally and modestly, “as if meeting Christ”. We ask that all visitors dress modestly as well. Whether you are in traditional wear or a suit, you will fit right in as long as it is decent and respectful of the worship atmosphere.
Can I invite people to come with?
Absolutely! The Gospel is for everyone—friends, family, and neighbors. You don’t need to wait for a special holiday; every Sunday is the Lord’s Day, and it is the perfect time to invite someone to hear the truth and experience the love of our Christian family.
What if we didn't answer your question?
We would love to help! Whether you have a specific Bible question or need directions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can contact us via email, give us a call, or simply ask one of our ushers or leaders when you arrive on Sunday. We are here to serve.
